hi!! so I want to put the camp fam (+ assorted other characters if i get to them) as dinosaurs in a park on Jurassic World Evolution 2, so I want to ask if anyone has any ideas for them? I might do them based off narrative/important scenes (Darius = gallimimus/parasaur Ben = anky with bumpy skin of course) or I might just do general vibes, so any ideas and thoughts would be appreciated!!
I have all DLC’s and all maps unlocked so lmk!!
#ideas on how to organize the park appreciated as well!!#I’ll either try and do a model of Jurassic world/inspired map of it or I’ll just eyeball it#I’ll put the camp fam in the same pen ofc but other ones idk#free range habitat maybe? like the entire park is just one big enclosure?#tags inbound sorry#Jurassic#Jurassic world#jurassic world camp cretaceous#jwcc#jurassic world chaos theory#jwct#Darius bowman#ben pincus#kenji kon#brooklynn jwcc#yasmina fadoula#sammy gutierrez#camp cretaceous#chaos theory#okay phew that’s done#thanks for reading this far!

ooh could you do something similar to your octa-trio with darling interested in marine bio but instead it’s darling interested in zoology with savanaclaw?
.。*♡ A/N: This is feeding into my obsession of learning random things so well, I've been binge reading everything about hyenas and lions these past few days lol. I hope you like it, darling!
.。*♡ "Leona, is it true that lions have a roar that can echo for eight kilometers? And that lions can't purr? And that female lions are the main hunters?" Question after question. Leona feels a growing headache, but also an urge to laugh. They're all such basic and silly questions, yet he's happy to know that you want to know more about lions, more about him.
.。*♡ His tail is wagging and his ears are twitching but if you point this out, he'll stop answering you and is going to pretend that nothing happened. For each question answered, you have to do something for him; usually Leona asks that you join him for a nap in his room or that you talk about your day, as he likes your voice and finds it relaxing to hear.
.。*♡ A lion's pride is his mate. So Leona holds you close so you can't escape from him to go around Savanaclaw asking other beastmen about their features and habits.
.。*♡ "Ruggie, it's true that hyenas can purr? Can you purr for me, please?" You ask, softly, shiny eyes looking into his as you wait for something, anything. A sparkle of pink rush to his cheek as he laughed a little. "Oh! And it's true that the 'laugh' is actually a vocalization used to communicate excitement, fear, or submission? And that up to 80 hyenas can live in the same pride?"
.。*♡ Oh goodness, you are feeding a little into his ego wanting to know all sort of things about hyenas now. He can't give the answer you want for free though, you have to give him a little incentive, maybe a few kisses, maybe food or you can try helping him on his errands and scratch his ears for him, either way, give your best shot as he is rooting for you. If he feels satisfied enough you will have your answers, otherwise, you can try again tomorrow.
.。*♡ He like this, having you cling to his arm, asking him things, it's cute. As a hyena, he's used to be throw around, to sacrifice and give freely to feed the kids in the slums and work harder than most. He feels a little greedy and he doesn't hide it.
.。*♡ "Jack, I have a few questions... How do wolves choose their leader? Is it true that wolves have an incredibly powerful bite force, capable of exerting up to 1,500 pounds per square inch?" You squint at him, right now, in his human form, Jack didn't seem capable of such things, even more with a mandible like that. His ears twitched a little, he was probably trying to think about how to respond to you, already knowing how you went to his upperclassmen with the same kind of questions. "By the way, wolves have a wide range of vocalizations to communicate, right? And they are also great at adapting to another habitat?"
.。*♡ Jack stares at you like a little dog, his tail wagging while a blush comes over to his face. He answers your questions to the best of his abilities, taking his time, so you spend more of your free time by his side. Your interest in wolves, in him more specifically, ignites a flame of interest inside him, maybe he really do have a chance with you and he'll do anything to get you to fall in love with him. For now, Jack indulges in your curiosity, he let you get close to him before trapping in his maws.

We live in strange times when we see consumption in general, and media consumption in particular, as the primary way to put our morality into practice.
I was raised this way, to an extent. My parents would always buy free-range eggs. But they made a point to explain to me that it wasn't a virtue signal - it was a way of applying pressure. "Lots of people can't afford to buy free range, but we can, so we do it.' they said. "That creates demand, and in the long term that will make free range eggs more affordable for everyone". It was all very pragmatic and made sense. There absolutely are some situations where we can affect markets for the better by how we shop.
But that's not how you become a good person. You don't get heaven coupons for shopping unproblematically. It's just one of a range of ways an individual person can make the world a little bit better. Nobody can take part in every single collective action campaign. You pick a few, and you do them not to polish your halo, but because you think they actually have some effect in the real world, and you want to make things a little bit better.
But somehow we're all turning into Chidi Anagonye, and I don't think it's making the world a better place. I think it's making it a more anxious, less focused, more antagonistic place.
And somehow, the phrase "there's no ethical consumption under capitalism" doesn't really comfort me. It's so very black and white, and it kind of misses the point, for me anyway. It still puts some kind of ethical valence on the business of buying things, and for most of us, for most of our purchases on most days, it really just doesn't matter that much. You need a thing, you buy the thing, you feel gratitude that you could do that, and you live on. Maybe you could afford to buy the fairtrade version, and you feel a bit more gratitude, because maybe you made the world a little bit better, and the fairtrade one is probably tastier anyway.
The sad truth is that those people whose purchases really tip the moral scale aren't losing sleep over building another beach house on a fragile habitat. The rest of us are just the little people living our lives as best we can. If there's a judgment, we'll be judged on things that really matter: how we treated other people, not which brand of washing powder we bought.

factions I think they would put in a fallout 4 zoo dlc
- the DLC’s unique mindless raider mob are Trophy Hunters. the player themself can loot from dead animals to make decor for their settlements, but even if the player character isn’t ideologically opposed to the practice of hunting these zoo animals, trophy hunters attack even each other on sight because they want to be the ones to get the exclusive prize first
- researchers who want to privately maintain and study the animals. as there are many sickly, heavily irradiated wild animals, the zoo’s stock is especially sensitive and fearful / aggressive toward people. the researchers wish to preserve these rare animals in accommodating environments and also seal up the park to keep out anything and anyone that may harm or wish to exploit them. there is a sentiment that the majority public is too brutish and callous to appreciate the preciousness of this sanctuary for mankind (just look at the trophy hunters! They say). siding with them revamps the zoo with more spiffed up natural habitats
- entrepreneur who wants to turn the zoo into a showy hotspot to draw in caps. the researchers want to give the animals five million hidey holes to tuck their faces in, they say, but no one is paying to see that. what we need is to take these skittish animals into gaudy settings - maybe even teach them to do tricks. then when the caps are rolling in, you can start duly compensating people for running this operation - hell, even those stuffy researchers can get a slice of the pie, I’ve got a big magnanimous heart, they don’t have to toil away all day for free out of duty. this could benefit folk, merchants, gift the public with this knowledge that should be open for everyone (for 30 caps adult admission, discounts for seniors and children), and we could even set up a CONTROLLED range for those trophy hunters to take out their urges, which takes care of that issue. otherwise, have fun with the researchers’ dilemma where they won’t even set up turrets because it scares the animals. (The researchers call the entrepreneur a two-bit circus master).
- faction that wants to free all the animals. if you side with them you can empty the zoo of animals, and they’ll appear in locations across the commonwealth wasteland, most of them as corpses, and many as aggressive mobs
- an enigmatic group called Noah’s Ark that seeks genetic material from the mutant animals in an attempt to forge animals in their pre-war glory. then they can admit the public in to see the wonder of the world as it was. heavily implied that their scientist is an offshoot Institute member. the zoo is revamped with pre-war animals in the enclosures, which are implied to be synths. the zoo can also be fortified with automatic defenses, as these animals are “calmer”.

Palmer Station AU Lilith always in short sleeves (Ava: you know you’re in Antarctica, right? Where the pencilguins are?) and everyone is a little concerned because she’s always underdressed and usually damp and never seems to notice it’s cold (Ava: it’s cold enough to freeze your tits off! Why is she in shorts? We know she’s tall, she doesn’t need to draw further attention to it.
Camila: She’s a horseshoe crab, that’s for sure.
Ava: … explain.
Beatrice: Survived 4 major extinction events but appears to be threatened. Apt.
Camila: Thanks. I would rather she just wore a jacket).
lilith who once spent hours every day swimming without a wetsuit in the atlantic, leaving her hoodie on a tree branch and her backpack with her gameboy and her snack bars wrapped in a tarp and rigged up on a length of repurposed bungee cord, because she read about big cats who pull their prey up into trees.
the first shock of water in the low celsius and how it made her feel so awake, so alive. and she’s addicted to that feeling, just a little, the body startled into bright awareness.
so at palmer while cam’s always going on about the insulative properties of wool, where even beatrice keeps quilts and her solar space heater and a good sturdy jacket up in her observatory, lilith is walking around in tank tops, hair wet on her shoulders, hands always chilly to touch so when cam tries to show her scales on the keyboard she ends up turned sideways on the upside-down bucket they use as a piano bench, cradling lilith’s hands in her hands and warming them with her breath.
faint notes of matcha and anise from her mouth and lilith wondering how she’d taste.
cam murmuring, ‘you’re freezing. doesn’t it hurt?’ and lilith shrugs.
she can’t look at cam while she speaks. afraid she’ll lose the words, or decide to do something else with her mouth. she’s not good at talking, learned ASL and ESL to let her speak with other divers underwater. in water, sound behaves differently.
‘most fish are cold-blooded. it allows them to live in broader temperature ranges. a useful adaptation for an environment that is traversable vertically and horizontally.’
cam humming, playing with her fingers now, finding the calluses, skin-texture shaped by years of performing certain, repetitive actions. lilith has a few from holding cutlery too tightly.
dark curls shifting as cam looks up. ‘you study that, right? adaptations.’
sign language underwater. backpacks in trees and a body growing fond of the cold. old manor houses with poor central heating and lilith curled up next to the fire downstairs while her mother is at dinner parties. waking up with a blanket over her, and for years convincing herself it was her father’s ghost. because she could not imagine her mother, tipsy in high-heels, smelling of cigarillo smoke, having the delicacy to cover up the small shape half-lit by the dying fire.
maybe she just didn't want to see it.
‘yes, among other things.’ lilith watches her fingers fold, unfold, as cam manipulates them. ‘some fish, like bluefin tuna, are warm-blooded. this allows them to swim on average around 1.6 times faster than other fish. an advantage, but it also makes them more vulnerable to the effects of climate change. temperature and habitat disruption.’
‘is that why you won’t wear a coat? are you afraid of adapting?’
cam’s eyes are shrewd, searching.
biting her lip, hands almost pulling out from the campfire of cam’s hands. ‘i- no i just… want to belong here. don’t like hiding from it, don’t like all the tight layers and the itchy heat. i like the water to decide how i feel.’
(so you don’t have to.)
camila is not so unkind as to say it, but her dark eyes are bathypelagic. deep, but home to things lilith loves.
‘i like to be free,’ she finishes. a bit lamely, in her mind, but cam only looks intrigued.
she curls lilith’s hands into two tight fists and returns them to her. they end up on her lap, peeling back apart like a pair of dead crabs.
‘but… sometimes adaptations are good, right?’
lilith shrugs, ‘yes, and sometimes they’re a cancer. evolution is a one-sided story. it’s not an artist’s sketch, or god. it’s chaos - just an account of a bunch of creatures who got lucky.’
she expects this to provoke a flinch, a wash of cold water, but camila only giggles, taps a few keys. the start of a tune lilith half-recognizes. familiar in the way a mouth can be even after a long time, with eyes closed.
‘you’re right.’ cam's eyes glitter. things live in the deep ocean where it’s dark. lilith knows this, but cam’s eyes make her believe it. ‘people can get used to the cold.’
her cold hands in cam’s warmth
‘but it’s okay to be warm sometimes?’ cam's voice hitches up at the end, so maybe it's a question. maybe she should answer.
lilith wonders if cam knows how to sign. she should teach her. it’s so useful for diving, for when a girl takes all the air out of the room.
cam turns bright, then. pelagic. ‘also, you don’t want to end up getting sick around me. i’ll make you so much tea you’ll start to hate me.’
impossible, lilith thinks. but all she does is nod, and look away.
#palmer station au#and then the obligatory sickfic ghdkslds#camilith#anon#i am giving you a good grade in sending me asks#casper writes

Brother, want some news that made me big mad to hear?
In my hometown a couple weeks ago someone shot a California Condor and now the Games warden is tearing ass to get the guy that did it.
Got any fun facts about that bird to brighten the day or do you wanna suffer with me?
We finally got those off the critically endangered list a year or so ago I thought, ain't just gonna be the game warden going after him. Feds are gonna get in on that and not the FBI but one of the ones that actually does its job.
Wrong about the critically endangered, but we're getting there.
Here's a kinda weird infodump that plays in no particular order, except the last 3 images because I noticed they were numbered.
Here's from 2019
Went through like 15 pages to find a good video, birdoftheweek was on the first page.
Looks like there's a bunch over at Pinnacles, used to hike and climb there all the time but there were no condors that I can recall from the mid to late 90's.
Let's see what the Park Service has to say, (they say there were I'll trust them)
California condors once ranged from British Columbia, Canada down to Baja California, Mexico. This range shrank with the increase of European settlers moving west. The causes of the decrease in condors included poisoning, shooting, habitat degradation, and the collection of eggs and feathers. By the late 1800s, naturalists were already making note of the California condors’ declining numbers and in 1967, condors were listed as an endangered species. Despite this protection, their population continued to decrease and dropped to a low of 22 individuals in the 1980s. All wild condors were then trapped and placed in captive breeding programs in an effort to save the species from extinction.
Since 1992, captive-bred condors have been released at five different sites in western North America (Pinnacles National Park, Big Sur, Hopper Mountain Wildlife Refuge Complex, Vermillion Cliffs, and Baja California). Each release site monitors the flock’s behaviors, movements, nesting attempts, and mortalities. Pinnacles joined the recovery program in 2003 with the release of 2 captive-bred condors on December 20th. In 2016, the first condor chick since 1898 (condor 828) fledged from a nest within Pinnacles. Since their reintroduction, condor numbers in the wild have slowly increased thanks to wild nesting and the release of captive-bred condors. As of the end of 2018, there were a total of 488 condors in the world, with 312 of those flying free in the wild. However, condors today are still dying due to lead poisoning, consuming litter and microtrash, and electrocution from power poles. Learn more about what you can do to help condors and other wildlife here.
ones over by Pinnacles might be in the group for your local deal, or maybe there's other groups in the area too.
Speaking of that area, can I just tell you how confusing it was for me as someone who had done the 152 run oodles and oodles of times when the Hollister clothing brand came out and made it big.
All I could think was who in the world would think that's a place that should have a "cool" clothing brand named after it.
Few years later I learned it was a gap thing and most people had no clue Hollister was a real place, lol.
You may proceed to laugh at me now.

KUJO, THE BLUE TANG.
masterlist.
No, no, no, no. This cannot be happening. I take it back. I do care about who my partner is!
Poor [Y/N] internally screamed. This was a nightmare. Maybe not so much for the jealous girls who immediately stared daggers at [Y/N] after hearing the teacher announce that. But for her, it is.
‘Cause that means she has to deal with emo delinquent first hand. She already knew that she was definitely going to fail this class. First of all, [Y/N] and Jotaro had never interacted with each other. Well, other than creepy eye contacts throughout the year.
But that was it! [Y/N] couldn’t be bothered about some jacked up delinquent guy. And Kujo Jotaro couldn’t give a single shit about an ordinary girl at some shitty school he goes to.
And this also means that [Y/N] has to actually communicate with her mouth, not her eyes. Sure, she has experience conversing with customers at the tea shop but those were strangers. And none of them were bad boys who smoke and skip class and have ten belts on their waists.
“Alright, that’s all! Now let me actually talk about the project.” The teacher spoke, gaining everyone’s attention. “You’ll all have to create a cardboard presentation about an animal of your choosing. It must include its origin, habitat, population, and fun facts! You are free to decorate your presentation in any way you want. Just nothing inappropriate, please.” He finished explaining.
[Y/N] rolled her eyes involuntarily, dreading the moment when she has to discuss with Jotaro later. Despite hating the fact that she has to work with Jotaro, she more so hates the fact that she’ll have one missing assignment. What’s worse? Working with tall emo, or not having all your assignments completed?
She let out a sigh of distress, taking out her pencil and notebook from under the desk and strategically planning steps about how to talk to Jotaro. Was it necessary? Yes. Very much so.
“Oh, by the way, this project will contribute 50% to your scores so if you don’t submit it… say goodbye to graduating.”
Oh, suck my ass.
Once the bell rang, indicating the second lunch break, [Y/N] quickly cleaned up her desk and chased after Jotaro who was already out of the classroom. This was basically like an elephant and mouse chase, reversed.
“Kujo!” The girl managed to breathe out once their proximity was close enough. Jotaro stopped in response to hearing his surname being called out. [Y/N] catches up to him and composes herself before speaking to him again. “Hey, uh.”
Shit, nice going [Y/N]
She was now face to face with Kujo Jotaro. His muscular frame looming over her. She didn’t know if it was the atmosphere or the gaze he had, but if anyone was passing by, they’d think [Y/N] and Jotaro were going to have a brawl.
Damn, for someone who smokes ten cigarettes every day, he looks pretty healthy.
“So…” [Y/N] started, looking up at him as she spoke. “When are you free—”
“Shut up”
“Excuse me—”
Jotaro grunted, “shut the fuck up, you’re noisy”. He gives her the nastiest glare a man could ever have and leaves to probably have a smoke break. “What the actual fuck…” The dumbfounded girl mumbled to herself as she stood there as if Jotaro had just revealed that he was batman. The girl was lost, to say the least.
Well, that was fucking rude. So much for running all the way here.
The girl sulked as she made her way back to her classroom. Passing by a certain someone’s locker and kicking it as hard as she can.
“Ow!”
Maybe Jotaro had a bad day. Maybe, just maybe, he was having a bad day and is in one of his moods right now. This isn’t the end of the world. We can still try this tomorrow. There’s still another chance.
Truth to be told, [Y/N] was one hundred and one percent sure this wasn’t going to work and she’d have to be held back a year because some stupid kid couldn’t cooperate with her.
That man already looks like an asshole, acting like one isn’t helping him or anyone at this matter. Looking like you have an attitude is one thing, but actually having an attitude is another. Damn, did this frustrate the girl.
It definitely agitated her because she was glaring onto the vase of flowers on the teachers desk while squeezing her juice box like a mad man.
Count your days, Kujo.

"Smell that, it's wet grass and smoke in my hair."
Chapter 4
<- previous chapter
Summary: Ao'nung feels overwhelmed, he worries too much about what his teammates will think about him, which ends up hurting other people. And where Kiri has a hard time at school, still being seen as the weird girl, but unexpectedly ends up meeting someone kind.
Notes: Hi!! As some of you may know, this chapter was originally more fluffy, but it didn't felt right tbh, sooooo now enjoy this angsty chapter!! ;)
Warnings: bully!ng
3,8k words approximately
It was around 9 AM, and the last thing Neteyam wanted to do was being in biology class, it felt like a sick joke after everything that happened the day before. But there he was, looking at his book and notebook on the desk without knowing what to do.
He tried to pay attention to the class and to get any bit of information to enter his brain, but he just hated that damn class, he isn't even planning on studying something related to biology anyway. So he just gave up and let his mind be free and think about anything else.
And his eyes landed directly on Ao'nung.
The curly haired boy seemed focused on his text book, it seemed like he understood every phrase and every question, and even weirder, it seemed like he was actually enjoying it. Neteyam didn't think that Ao'nung would be good in science, but well, he didn't actually knew much about him anyway
Which led him to think about the day before. They haven't talked about it, I mean, they haven't talked at all as usual, but Neteyam felt like he should say something, he should tell Ao'nung that he's grateful for his help. Maybe Ao'nung wasn't that bad after all
He spent the rest of the class drawing doodles on his notebook and eventually writing some things down, until the bell finally rang. Everyone got out of the classroom and dispersed around the school, he knew that the Metkayina would be at the school's gym playing with his friends, so that's where he'll go... after thinking about it for a minute .
The thing is; his mind was blank. He didn't know why, but he got nervous at last minute. He would ask him to talk, and then what? What would he say then?
ೃ༄*ੈ✩
Ao'nung grabbed his bottle of water while he and his friends from the team took a small break before continuing to play.
"Bro remember when that forest boy passed out yesterday?" Nash'vi, Ao'nung's not exactly dearest friend said laughing, just like the rest of their teammates when they remembered what happened to Neteyam. "He fell straight to the ground when we where just warming up, I wanted to laugh so bad." Another boy, Tsu'hak, agreed with him.
"Neteyam might be good at basketball, but he's still a freak just like Lo'ak and their weird sister. Right, Ao?" They turned to look at Ao'nung, who wasn't laughing, but quickly smiled and agreed.
"Ao'nung." They turned around and saw Neteyam walking towards them.
"Speaking of the devil." Tsu'hak said jokingly to Nash'vi as he looked at Neteyam. The rest of the boys dispersed to start playing again.
"Hey, can I talk to you for a second?"
Ao'nung could feel the eyes of his teammates looking at him as they whispered and laughed, making him anxious. "Uh, sure, let's go outside"
They stood right outside the gym, next to the entrance. Ao'nung knew that his friends were listening to them, so he couldn't be all nice to the freak of the school.
Easier said than done.
"So? What is it?" Ao'nung had an arrogant tone to his voice, his arms were crossed in his chest and Neteyam was already regretting this.
"Well, about yesterday…" Ao'nung laughed mockingly, interrupting him, and Neteyam just looked at him weirded out. Why was he acting like this? This wasn't the Ao'nung that was so nice to him the day before.
"When you dropped dead during practice? That was hilarious." Ao'nung heard some giggles from inside the gym. He made them laugh, that was good. "I guess not being in your natural habitat is getting to you."
"What is wrong with you?" He could tell Neteyam was hurt, he could see it in the way his eyes glistened. He was regretting this from the start, but he couldn't stop now, he knew everyone was listening to him.
"There's nothing wrong with me, forest boy." He noticed how Neteyam went from dejected, to immediately put a shield in between them and start being defensive. If Neteyam was being vulnerable just seconds ago, now that was completely gone. And it was Ao'nung's fault.
"Okay, if you wanna be an asshole, fine, i'm done with you" He raised his voice just enough to sound intimidating. He took a step forward so suddenly that made Ao'nung take a step backwards. "I just wanted to be polite and thank you for helping me yesterday after I dropped dead" He pressed a paper bag against Ao'nung's chest. "I bought you a lemon cake, you can eat it or throw it away, I don't fucking care anymore." Ao'nung looked at him speechless, he couldn't even dare to feel guilty, this was the consequence of his actions.
"Neteyam…" Before he could process it, the boy was already walking away.
He heard his teammates talking and laughing, and that's what he intended, to make them laugh, to be fun and careless as always, but now it felt bitter, now he realized how much of an idiot he was.
ೃ༄*ੈ✩
Neteyam walked hurriedly through the hallways and went into the bathroom and locked himself in a stall. Once he was alone and didn't heard any noise from the outside, he finally breathed out and let out a sob, muting it with the back of his hand.
He often felt distant from everyone else, he felt distant from Lo'ak, even though he loved his baby brother and wanted to be closer with him, just like when they were younger. But as they grew older, they grew apart.
He often felt distant from people his age, he never had many friends growing up, and when he became a teenager, his main focus became studying and his family. He wanted to make them proud and study hard to get into a good university, but sometimes he wonders if he grew up too fast. He feels that he should be more like Lo'ak sometimes, he wishes to be more like him, he wants to go out to his friends' parties, he wants to disobey his parents, he wants to be in a relationship. He just wants to feel like a normal teenager, not like a freak, at least just once.
He often felt distant from everyone, even though he was nice to his teammates, they didn't really cared about getting to know him, it didn't matter if he was a good player or not. To their eyes, Neteyam was still a freak, he wasn't a Metkayina like them, he's just an outsider, and he felt like one… Until Ao'nung got closer to him, he thought that maybe this could be the beginning of a friendship, but now he realized that Ao'nung doesn't really care about him, he was just following the coach's instructions to help him.
Neteyam didn't know that it was possible to feel even lonelier than before, but there he was, sobbing against the back of his hand trying to be as quiet as possible.
Kiri's shoulders felt instantly relieved as she put her heavy books from her backpack to her locker. She loved seeing it with her stuff and decorations, personalizing it with stickers didn't seem like something exciting but it brought her joy.
Unfortunately, that joy didn't last very long.
She heard some giggles from a distance, making her feel uneasy, and when she turned around to see the other side of the hallway, she recognized some boys from the basketball team laughing at her direction.
When she was closing her locker, she noticed that the locker's door had horrible things written all over it with permanent markers. Things like Freak or Weird bitch stood out in black ink on top of the white surface.
Her heart sinked, she felt so embarrassed, her eyes filled with tears as she noticed that everyone there was laughing at her, like they were waiting for her to see what they've done. She felt like couldn't move even though she wanted to, she was frozen.
"Look, she's crying!" someone pointed her with their finger, laughing like it was the funniest thing.
ೃ༄*ੈ✩
At the other end of the hallway, Ao'nung and Rotxo, his best friend, were walking to their lockers when they encountered this commotion, but at first they didn't know what was going on, until they noticed the short haired girl standing petrified as people laughed at her.
"What's happening?" Rotxo asked still confused, Ao'nung pointed at her locker.
"I think they wrote some shit in her locker, she's that new girl from the forest who's weird and talks to plants and shit." Rotxo looked at his friend with an incredulous look on his face. How could he talk about that poor girl like that?
It was his last straw when he saw a girl pushing Kiri and making her drop her backpack as she said "Do something bitch! don't just stand there while we're laughing at you! You're pathetic."
Ao'nung didn't even noticed when Rotxo started to walk towards the crowd and pushed the guys who started it, everyone immediately went silent.
"What is your problem bro?" Nash'vi looked at Rotxo with a frown. They both were friends and played on the basketball team, but sometimes Rotxo couldn't stand him, they were so different, Rotxo wasn't a bully to begin with.
"What do you think you're doing?! do you think it's funny bullying the new girl?" Seeing him being angry actually left them speechless, his friends were so used to him being nice and calmed that this facet of him was shocking.
"Bro we're just joking, rela-"
"Do you think this is fucking funny?" Nobody answered, they just looked down. Kiri finally reacted and left the scene, wiping the tears in her face. Rotxo looked at her, worried as she got farther and farther. He turned around to face Nash'vi "You better clean this up before she sees it again, are we clear?"
Now, Rotxo got out of there too, leaving his friends speechless behind him, but he couldn't care less, right know he just tried to follow Kiri's path.
When he thought he lost sight of her, he found her sitting on the grass with her back against the concrete wall of the school.
It was a heartbreaking picture, she looked like a fairy sitting there in between some flowers with her crystal necklaces while she wiped her tears with delicate hands. He just couldn't understand why would people treat her so badly, because she came from the forest? because she had different traditions? because she looked different? She didn't deserve any of that.
Rotxo decided to walk towards her to give her her backpack that was forgotten on the floor. Kiri saw him and immediately tried to get away as she saw the basketball team's uniform.
"No, no! it's me, don't worry, I just came here to hand you your backpack." He spoke with the softest voice ever, and Kiri completely forgot that she just left her backpack thrown on the floor.
"Oh, thank you, you didn't have to." she received the bag still sobbing, Rotxo sat next to her on the grass. Kiri was confused, why would he want to sit with her?
"I'm sorry that you had to go through all that… You don't deserve it" She wipes her tears, already calming down.
"It's fine, I mean, they are teenagers, I do weird things and look different from them, it's just something that is going to happen I guess" she rested her chin on her arms that were resting on her knees
It was really sad that she thought that, of course it wasn't okay to treat her like shit for entertainment. But keep talking about it wasn't what she needed, she needed a friend.
"Your necklace is really beautiful, is that an amethyst?" Kiri looked down at the purple crystal resting on her chest and looked at him with a soft smile.
"It is actually, I made the necklace myself." Rotxo looked at her surprised.
"You did? No way! you're really talented" Now Kiri looked at him with surprised eyes.
"You really think so?"
"Of course! Are you kidding?"
Her crying had already ceased and was practically forgotten. Rotxo was impressed with Kiri's talent, she made her own jewelry and also knitted some of her clothes
And Kiri felt so happy that someone was finally kind with her and wants to get to know her. She had finally made a friend.
The evening sky resembled a pink and yellow watercolor painting above Awa'atlu, there was barely any wind, just a warm breeze that carefully ran through Ao'nung's curls. He and Rotxo were resting in Ao'nung's swimming pool after swimming and playing around in the water for a while, and now that his parents weren't home they could smoke without getting caught.
Ao'nung has been trying all day to ignore the feeling of remorse after being just insufferable to Neteyam, he couldn't stop thinking about the way those sad and golden eyes turned teary because of him. He didn't wanna talk about it with Tsireya because when he asked her advice to make Neteyam like him, she said that he should start by apologizing, but not only he didn't do any of that, now he was sure that he made him cry.
He lighted the joint in his mouth and after giving it a puff he handed it to Rotxo. He wanted to talk about the Neteyam situation with him, but he didn't want to be so straightforward.
"Bro, today when the boys were laughing at that girl in the hallway, where did you go afterwards? You just kinda disappeared."
"Oh, she dropped her backpack and ran away so I picked it up and gave it to her" He smiled "But when I got there I sat down next to her, and I don't know if you know her but her name is Kiri, and she's actually so cool." Ao'nung looked at his friend not really convinced of that statement.
"Really?" Rotxo nodded. "And weren't you… Worried about what would the boys and everyone there think about you defending Kiri?" Rotxo looked at him and didn't hesitate about his answer.
"Of course not, I know somewhere in their brains they know that what they're doing is awful, and i'm not gonna stay there and just watch them torture a girl who's done nothing wrong." Ao'nung nodded, and god, he wishes he could be like his best friend and not worry about what other people thought about him.
"Yeah but still, doesn't it worry you that if you don't do what everyone else does, they would exclude you or something like that?" Rotxo thought about it for a second while his best friend looked at him, anxious to know his answer.
"It doesn't... Worry me, you know? It would worry me if they were actually good friends or good people, but I feel like I wouldn't be missing a lot if they don't talk to me or something like that." He passed the joint back to Ao'nung. "Besides, I have more friends, like you and Reya, real friends, not just classmates or teammates."
Ao'nung huffed and rubbed his face with his hands, making Rotxo giggle. "Ugh, you're right… I wish I didn't worry so much about what other people would say, like you."
"It wasn't something overnight though, but you can definitely get there."
Ao'nung hesitated for a second, but finally spoke. "Can I tell you something?" Rotxo nodded. Ao'nung told him about what happened with Neteyam from the beginning so he would have more context.
"There's one thing I don't get." Rotxo looked at him. "I don't understand why this situation affects you this much even though you two weren't friends to begin with, and knowing you, you normally wouldn't be worried about someone you don't care about."
"That's the thing!" Ao'nung said exasperated, like he was overwhelmed by his own feelings. "I think I actually care about him, you know? We might not be friends yet but I wanted to get to know him, I liked talking to him and I think he's, you know, smart, talented, caring and all that stuff." He looked down shyly and a sad smile appeared on his face. "But I think I fucked up for good now."
For a moment Rotxo just looked at him, he didn't know if he was too high or if he just heard Ao'nung basically confessing his feelings about Neteyam. "Bro I think you should put your pride aside and tell him you're sorry." Ao'nung rose his eyes from the water and looked up at Rotxo.
"It's not pride! I just think he wouldn't wanna see me for a while and I get that, I respect it" Rotxo shook his head, Ao'nung didn't get what he was trying to say.
"Okay first of all that's bullshit, you don't know for sure if he wants to see you or not, maybe he's expecting an apology from you. And second of all, I meant that you should put your pride aside and turn a blind eye to what would the team or anyone would say about you being friendly to the «forest boy»" He made quotation marks with his fingers. They were silent for a moment, Ao'nung was debating in his head about whether he should do what his best friend says or just make a safe bet and simply don't talk to Neteyam.
"Should I even try to apologize even though i'm sure he doesn't wanna see me?" Ao'nung wasn't really convinced about approaching Neteyam, but Rotxo was always right… he must be wizard or something.
"Yeah, definitely, that way he'll know that you feel sorry." Ao'nung sighed.
"I'll think about it."
Today it was one of those days that Neytiri got home earlier from work, so she and Jake decided to cook something special for dinner; a traditional Omaticaya recipe, everyone loved it, and even more now that they were far from their home and often felt homesick.
Neytiri was setting the table while Jake finished cooking. Lo'ak and Kiri were playing video games together and Tuk was drawing animals on her beloved sketchbook.
"Lo'ak, tell Neteyam that dinner is ready." Neytiri asked her son, who didn't took his eyes off of the TV.
"Neteyam! Dinner!" He yelled, he was too focused on not letting Kiri win again. And Neytiri looked at him with her hands on her hips
"Lo'ak I'm gonna turn the TV off if you don't go upstairs and tell your brother to come here." She warned.
"But mom! Why can't just Kiri go?" He said frustrated as he was about to lose again on the game.
"Lo'ak te Suli Tsyeyk'itan, I'm not gonna ask you again!" As soon as she finished that sentence, the flat screen showed Kiri as the winner once again. She celebrated and laughed as her brother got up from the couch.
"Fine, I'll go"
Lo'ak was pissed off by his defeat, but this time he only lost because his mom distracted him! The next time he would beat Kiri, he was sure.
His thoughts were interrupted when he got close to Neteyam's bedroom and heard something like... Sobs? His brother was crying?
The door was half way open, so he got closer and took a look inside. The room was almost completely dark if it wasn't for the dying daylight getting in from the window, Neteyam was laying on his side on top of his bed, facing the window and almost in complete silence if it wasn't for his sobs, which he tried to quiet down
This concerned Lo'ak immediately, catching Neteyam crying was as unusual as winning the lottery, so he thought that maybe his brother was hurting or something like that, there wasn't another explanation that made sense to him. So he decided to enter his brother's room and turn on the lights, making Neteyam jump due to the sudden invasion of his space.
"Bro are you alright?!" He sat on his brother's bed and shook his shoulder, while Neteyam tried to sat up and used his hand to cover his eyes from the bright light. "Are you hurt?! What's wrong?"
"Eywa I'm fine!" He pushed his brother's hands and wiped his tears. "You scared the shit out of me! You have to knock the door first you psycho! I could've been naked!"
"Are you sure you're okay?" Lo'ak was still worried. "I heard you crying." He looked at Neteyam, who kept wiping and wiping tears that were rolling down his face by themselves.
"Yes! I'm fine, just leave me alone." And there it is, his voice broke mid sentence and now he was crying again, but he still looked to the side so Lo'ak couldn't see him, but it was too late.
Just like his brother, Lo'ak had a strong feeling of protection, especially for his family, so he wouldn't leave his brother alone.
"'Teyam, you know you can trust me." He positioned his hand on his shoulder, trying to comfort him but making him cry even more. "Please, tell me what's wrong."
"It's nothing serious, really." Neteyam sniffed and then wiped his nose. "it's just..."
"Yes?" Lo'ak was so intrigued to know what could've made his brother cry. Neteyam hesitated for a moment, debating whether he would tell his brother or not.
"I wanted to thank Ao'nung for helping me on the nursery yesterday… But when I was talking to him, he said awful things." Saying his name was just enough to irritate Lo'ak. "He treated me like a weirdo… Just like everyone else."
"That motherfucker…"
"And when he was talking to me, I heard the boys from the team laughing, they were laughing at the things he said... I felt humiliated and- and also I felt kind of betrayed, you know?" He laughed sarcastically. "I thought that Ao'nung was... different, but I guess was wrong."
It was hard to see his big brother like this, with his face dampened by his own tears and his head down, trying to hide. It was nothing like how he usually was, he seemed unbreakable, like nothing could ever get to him, he was the one that would comfort everyone because he didn't need anyone to comfort him. But maybe Lo'ak was wrong, after all, Neteyam was a person too.
"See? Just because he was nice one time, it didn't mean he's actually nice." He quoted what he said when Neteyam told him about how nice Ao'nung treated him. "And don't even expect him to apologize, I bet he can't even feel remorse or compassion."
Neteyam knew that he shouldn't expect anything from Ao'nung, but deep inside he wanted an apology, he needed one just so he'll know that the Metkayina didn't meant what he said.
But It was a stupid idea honestly, he should start to just forget about it.

The Void AU
Basics This AU is about our little fluffy friend getting sucked in to the void somehow. With only his wits and a few pals he made along the way, he must try to escape this place and get back home. This definitely won’t be easy however, he’s not the only one trapped here…
Characters/Groups
The Colony
Basically this is a large group of other Bendys’ that were taken here as well that are currently trying to hunt down the “original Bendy” to be released from their prison. They don’t really want to kill him of course, but they’re under the control of three self proclaimed “leaders”: Glitch, Tiger, and Night (see reference pages) who will stop at nothing until he’s captured or killed. Nobody knows why they’re doing this, they just do what they’re told because if they don’t, they’ll be next…. These fellas live in a camp of sorts in the middle of a corrupted forest, some reside in small houses while others aren’t so lucky (see camp reference)
The Rebellion
This group is made of only three: Bendy, Wolf, and Jade (see ref pages). These guys are all trying to escape together, and maybe even free all of the others from the leaders’ control as well. For now however, they need to keep out of their grasp until they have a fully fledged plan. These guys are nomads of sorts, remaining out of the forests and other territories but still staying close to them as to try and spy from time to time. Jade is a member of the colony and uses this to her advantage to spy on them for Wolf and Ben.
The Outcasts
Rogue and Captain(2) (see ref pages) live together out on the edge of the forest, just outside of the occupied territory. They don’t belong to the Colony nor the Rebellion, mostly because they have no idea on what’s going on- they manage to keep out of sight by moving their own little campsite around continuously.
The Void
The Void itself is a dark endless abyss with thin black platforms floating around that can sometimes habitat small ecosystems, most of the platforms however, are barren. They can be the length of a basketball field, or the length of a football one. The platforms are very thin however, but even so they seem to defy logic by allowing anything to balance on them even if the object is on one far side of it, they never tip over and stay floating around constantly at an extremely slow pace. Gravity there doesn’t seem to make any sense either, it can change at any given point. It somehow seems to know if you’re jumping from one platform to another, so it will essentially stop only for you to allow you to make the jump. No matter how high the jump is, you will almost always make it.
The Creatures
Spirit Snakes (see ref): These fellas make up the majority of the void. They live in packs and are very territorial. They are a nomadic species and don’t usually stay around for too long. Shadow and Captain(1) are actually spirit snakes themselves, only using the body of their respective Bendy’s as a vessel (Shadow:Ghost and Captain(1):Spirit) They are very competitive with nightmare beasts.
Nightmare Beasts(see ref): They’re make up a good bit of the void population as well. These guys also live in packs but they settle in one space instead of moving around. They’re also pretty territorial. Night is the leader of his own pack with Jade being his daughter, they were forced into an agreement of sorts with Glitch to have their pack live if they would help him in his killing spree. They are very competitive with spirit snakes.
Void creatures(see ref): They range from rabbits to foxes and seem to be very violent depending on the animal. They usually live in the forested areas of the Void and tend to stay hidden. These creatures are usually the pray that nightmare beasts and spirit snakes compete for. Their meat is black like the outside of their body but is very nutritious.
The Vegetation
Most of the plants and herbs you can find are like any other. There are some plants that have been corrupted though on their way into the Void and it’s best to avoid those. If you happen to eat a corrupted plant of any kind (signs of corruption include full black leaves and berries along with glitching or even static noises coming from it) within the minute you will start to erase from existence. Corruption on these plants does not spread to others.
The Habits
It’s a mystery how plants are able to survive in the Void since there is no sun, however, this seems to be a place that defies all logic. There are a wide range of habitats to be found but mostly barren wastelands or forested woods. Habitats are sucked down into the Void whenever a universe begins to collapse in on itself. Some die pretty quickly but others are able to adapt to their new environment. There’s more wastelands than forests so they are high sought for and can even cause wars. Forests host an abundance of food and usually rivers. If you’re ever stuck in the middle of nowhere, look for a waterfall. This means that there is a platform housing a forest nearby.
The Goo
These things are not sentient, the Goo seems to be a waste product of when things are sent to the Void. It is a black sludge that continually glitches out and makes a static noise. It is full corruption, meaning it’s not attached to anything and is the base form of corruption itself. If you touch it it will immediately latch on to you and begin swallowing you whole until you are erased from existence. Once your body is gone, it will return back to its original size. They can move but they do not chase you, they aren’t living organisms so they do not need to eat.
Corruption
This anomaly takes place when the universe (or part of it) starts to collapse in on itself. Corruption can be transferred by eating food that is corrupted or touching the Goo. Once either of these things take place you will eventually be erased from existence. Nothing will be left of you and there is no way to fight it. If you manage to become corrupted, it is essentially a death sentence. Signs of corruption include: Fully black parts of objects or plants, a high pitched static noise, and sometimes little bits of glitching from said object, plant, or person.
DISCLAIMER: This is not a fully fledged story and will have some plot holes here and there. This AU was made for me and my friends a long while ago but since ppl seem to like ‘em I’ve decided to make a blog for them, so please be wary of that. If you’d rather like a fully thought out story then I highly suggest checking out my other AU over on my main blog @kkolg, I’m much more active over there so go check it out, I even have a comic for that AU! I’m probably not gonna be super active on here but I won’t be like dead all the time either lol, just remember that. Things are prone to change on here so just keep that in mind, I’ll probably put a thing on top if i changed anything. Reference sheets and other things of that sort will also take a bit so I apologize if I’m a bit slow on that, I currently have a lot of projects to do and they might take a while so please be patient

Thess vs The Unexpected
I mean, the work day wasn't unexpected. I got left with the lion's share of the fiddly annoying bullshit, which I finished ... well, more or less on time, since the grand finale for the afternoon was a seventeen-minute monstrosity by The Breast Guy. I was just about to start that off and praying I'd finish at least more or less by 5pm when my mobile rang - my stepfather. He's been at the other flat a lot lately, which means hey, great, maybe something's going to happen and this one will start getting renovated soon! (Though watch; I'm going to end up living back at the other flat for another three-plus years while he procrastinates. But at least he's doing stuff and I might be able to have an actual shower and non-leaky faucets sometime before 2025.) Anyway, I probably sounded frazzled, since his first response was, "Sorry to disturb". Then he asked if he could drop something off and I was like, "...Okay, sure", while wondering what the hell he could possibly be wanting to drop in my general direction.
The answer? ...Cutlery, apparently. They got new cutlery for themselves and thought I might like their old set (or, well, part of their old set, because I am highly unlikely to ever need more than four place settings at a go).
No, see, as may have been gathered by this point, the parentals have a lot more money than I do. This is why I tend to ask for things like cookware as Christmas and birthday gifts - they can afford the good stuff and understand this stuff as an investment. You know, better to have a really good pot that you may not have to replace in your entire lifetime than have a cheap piece of crap that'll be unusuable in a couple of years. The "Vimes 'Boots' Theory of Socio-Economic Unfairness" as applied to cookware. Now, when I was first living on my own, I had cheap crappy aluminium cutlery with about the heft of the average chewing gum wrapper (and almost the same ability to bend). But I graduated from that, in a sense - really good sale on a cutlery set at Habitat. So I have some pretty solid cutlery but not ... you know, The Best. The parentals, however? Probably not The Absolute Best either, but I have always been rather admiring of their cutlery. It is some solid shit, lemme tell you. So I guess they remembered how much I liked theirs and thought I would give it a good home. Which I obviously will, because if there's one thing my ongoing cookery kick has taught me, it's the benefits of having good shit in the kitchen.
Long story short, that cheered me up enough to get through the seventeen-minute monstrosity with ... okay, I was only really tempted to fling the laptop at the nearest wall once. So that's a win. I still hurt like hell, mind, and I'm counting the days to my week off (a little under two weeks and counting - my birthday present to myself every year), but there was a bright spot. New kitchenware has that effect. I got myself a wok recently, and my next purchase is going to be a 9" by 13" baking tin, which I need for a specific Baking Yesteryear dessert. (Actually for a lot of Baking Yesteryear desserts. Also brownies.) Also, bright spot in that the workday is over and after a little bit of time to let some of the OW fade, I will be making gluten-free fish fingers (well, technically cod goujons, but that's a wee bit pretentious) and relaxing with a little bit of Baldur's Gate 3 or something.

15 Questions for 15 Mutuals
Tagged by: @alphedhel
If you're not comfortable with answering, just say "I plead the 5th." I find it hilarious
1. Are you named after anyone?
I was going to be named after my uncle if I was a boy, but that didn't work out. She didn't like the female version, so she went with something Christmas-y since I was born so close to Christmas.
2. When was the last time you cried?
Today, as a matter of fact. In a fit of rage while trying to dispose of a very stubborn and very rude cottonwood sapling.
3. Do you have kids?
No, but if I were in the right headspace and had a partner who wanted them and we were financially secure, I wouldn't mind adopting or fostering a couple.
4. Do you use sarcasm a lot?
It's one of my love languages. But I will admit to needing to lay off the snark once in a while.
5. What sports do you play/have you played?
I was a hockey player as a kid and I played soccer (football for you Europeans). Now, I take long walks with two obnoxious dogs and my parents. I'm not very sports oriented anymore due to a back injury.
6. What’s the first thing you notice about other people?
If they have a dog or not. I'm an anxious person and I don't like looking at people out of habit, but if there's a dog, I'm asking to pet it.
7. Eye Color?
Green. The only 1% I'm part of is the percentage of the population with natural red hair and green eyes
8. Scary movies or happy endings?
(Spanish girl "why not both?" meme)
I love happy endings and horror movies. And when a horror film has a happy ending? Even better.
9. Any Special talents?
I can unnerve a voice teacher with an unusual vocal range, maybe? My usual speaking voice is considered really low and normally shouldn't be able to clear three octaves. But my singing range is about four and a half octaves to five.
10. Where were you born?
Alaska and I have been stuck here for nearly thirty years. It's a beautiful state, don't get me wrong, but egads I want to leave. And no, we cannot see Russia from our house. That's in Wasilla and that's because of all the crystal meth they cook.
11. Free space (there was no 11 on the prompt I received)
My favorite movie of all time is the Princess Bride. I watched it so much as a kid that I wore out the old VHS tape. My mom got a copy of the DVD and we quote it at the screen when we watch it sometimes to annoy my dad. (he loves it)
12. Do you have any pets?
Two dogs named Luka and Rosie and two cats named Selina and Brucie.
13. How tall are you?
About 5'7 or 5'8, depends on the doctor
14. Favorite subject in school?
English and Social Studies. I was one of those kids who loved every book we read in class and would read ahead because I wanted to know what happened next. I read during class and got in trouble when I supposed to be doing work. And I'd read ahead in my history book to find out cool shit and then look that up in the library. The other kids thought I was weird as fuck. Wouldn't find out until I was 13 that I had The Autism™
15. Dream Job?
Used to be Disney World, but the Mouse destroyed my dreams and crushed my soul like a grape. Now it's something involving wild animal rehabilitation or something like that. I like critters and I want to help restore habitats and endangered species and things like that.

I think if an animal is dead, taxidermy makes lots of sense, but I also spent a lot of time thinking about endangered animal taxidermy as a kid because of all the time I spent staring at taxidermied animals during class at my school.
So my school had a large amount of 19th century rare and endangered taxidermy animals bequeathed to them by a 19th century big game hunter alum. When I was really little I thought of the building where most of them were housed as "The Dead Animal Petting zoo." This is why I know what a lions fur feels like, or an antelopes. Yes, letting kids periodically touch them was not ideal from a preservation stand point and some of the specimens were not in great shape by the time I hit high school.
They used them in science lessons. They used them to teach little kids animal names. They'd troop us over there for lectures about environments and ecosystems. It was free whereas the yearly trip to the zoo cost money, so they would just troop us over now and then and let us wander around. When I was in the 4-8 great range, they help music and chorus classes over there and I'd sit and think about the ethics while we were singing.
They absolutely shouldn't have been killed. The elephants broke my heart, in particular and you couldn't not think about elephants as intelligent social creatures while staring at the head over the fire place. I was angry at big game hunting. I was angry about the loses some of those animals meant to their families or social groups. I was angry about all of them not getting to live their assorted natural life spans in Africa or Asia or the Arctic, etc.. All these animals died for the pleasure of some shitty rich old white man who likely did terrible things to be rich enough to travel the world slaughtering animals he didn't even eat for the most part. Fuck that dead guy and everything he stood for.
At the same time, the animals were dead before my great grandmother was born, for the most part. Nearly all of them died before my grandmother was born as he was slowing down by then. I did the math and realized that those animals would all be dead of natural causes by the time I was sitting there staring at them.
Them not being there for me to look at in the Dead Animal Petting Zoo wouldn't make anything better. It wouldn't bring those walruses back to life or the little dik diks in the k-3 science room. It wouldn't set the bears and lions back out in the wilderness. It wouldn't reattach the elephant legs turned into umbrella stands and stools so the elephants that had been dead a century or so could walk away back to their families.
Should these specimens have been in the natural history museum downtown or a university collection instead of where teen boys would challenge each other to grab the bull elephant's trunk? Probably. At the same time it was mostly heads and very few intact specimens a museum might want.
Several generations of kids got to stare at them in wonder, got to pet the lion's mane, got lessons designed around them that at least my time in the '70's and '80's were about the importance of saving these species and preserving their habitats.
The specimens became an embarrassment and some of the most handled like the bull elephant were in bad shape. They wanted to build a gym extension so they tore down the dead animal petting zoo. I've no idea where the taxidermy animals went. I was sad when they were gone to some attic or storage closet or landfill or some administrator's home.
I was so sad and not a little angry. They shouldn't have been there in the first place, but them being lost and forgotten and maybe destroyed was worse, because then it was all for nothing.
That zoo animal died of natural causes. Of course they should preserve it for study and educational purposes. It's dead either way and this way something positive can come from it.
I'd love my body to be used for science when I'm not using it anymore, I'd love my organs and such to go to patients if they turn out to be harvestable. I'd love some good to come from my eventual inevitable death if that's possible.
I swear some people will act like taxidermists are skinning animals alive
A tiger recently died in a famous zoo in my country, and people are up in arms about the zoo's decision to taxidermy it for research and educational purposes
The alternative is chopping it up and burning it in a furnace but I guess that's "What the tiger would have wanted"
The tiger never talked to you or me or anyone, but I guess acting emotional about a corpse puts you on higher moral ground and that means you know the tiger better than anyone who actually took care of or researched it
"The tiger wouldn't have wanted-" No. You don't want this. You're projecting.
Edit: Apparently people are not only planning a rally against this tiger's taxidermy, but harrassing the taxidermist in charge. This is bullshit.

Elegance coral, which is also known as the wonder, or ridge coral, Catalaphyllia jardinei, is a species of euphyllid stony coral collected from sheltered lagoon environments with turbid water, low current, and soft, fine substrates. Although the species is also found at deeper sites on the reef, at the base of reef slopes, at 20 meters or more. Less typically this coral grows attached, instead, to a hard substrate.
It has a wide natural range in the Indo-West Pacific, and it is a rare coral throughout this range, especially in the Western Indian Ocean. In the wild it often grows among seagrass vegetation, and in some habitats it is sympatric with fellow free-living stony corals, such as Trachyphyllia, Cynarina, and Cycloseris. C. jardinei are well able to shed particles of sediment.
Catalaphyllia polyps are large, with a big and fleshy oral disc, which is surrounded by unusually large, tubular tentacles. The septae of the Catalaphyllia skeleton are widely spaced, and have straight edges, forming valleys. Such a skeleton is not unexpected for a euphyllid, but its base is wedge shaped, because Catalaphyllia evolved to sit in soft substrate, rather than attaching to rock.
In addition to forming colonies, that may be up to 60 centimeters or 2 feet or thereabouts, wild Catalaphyllia may also be encountered as solitary polyps. There are different morphs of Catalaphyllia, that relate to their environments, however, the genus is currently considered to be monotypic, or all Catalophyllia belonging to the singular species that is named C. jardinei
Catalaphyllia are a hardy coral, but one that does not tolerate spikes in temperture as well as some lagoon corals. Maybe surprisingly, wild collected Catalaphyllia colonies may have a very low survival rate after their importation. Given that this species is variable, with distinct morphs relating to their natural environments, it may simply be that corals were placed into unsuitable aquaria.
The free living Catalaphyllia that are collected in turbid, muddy lagoons, tend to fare better than the fragments broken from big, deep water colonies, which often have smaller polyps. This is due to a lack of care, during the processes of collection and shipment. But Catalloohyllia, although they are easy to care for, have specific needs, that home aquarists might fail to provide, through an understandable lack of knowledge.
Catalaphyllia require low to medium light and water flow, and favor high organic nutrient concentrations. Therefore they do better with high fish stocking, than in the kind of reef tank that is meticulously maintained with clean water. They must be placed with their mouths facing upwards, out of strong flow, and not under strong lighting. As stony corals, they do take minerals from the water, that may need to be replenished.
They should not be placed too close to other corals, having a wide and deadly stinging range. As they naturally take quite large prey, they should be fed, but only once a week, on chopped seafoods or defrosted, meaty foods. Very small fish, crustaceans, and even snails, may be eaten by this coral, if its large polyps can ingest them. Fortunately, they can only ingest items of about 1/2 a centimeter or 1/4 of an inch.

Far Away Soul, White Cold Star 💫
Chapter 19 p.2 “Arise Hatred Amiss..Distrust the world this Once!”
You've never wanted it to be this way, how could you really when all you've done is kill till this very moment, new options ahead you are stuck on what to even act upon. Future is always foretold yet a curse at every step, how depressing, how can one truly love when that persons fate is strewn out to you like a movie..slowly letting itself play till the very end..
Snap Back! We can't stay like this forever..Entropy is constant but life makes the Universe experience actual change!
She's Alive..I'm coming Hèr'La..don't worry I'm just..so sorry..
The Crimson Forest would erupt with sounds from all corners, sounds of gunshots and whistling of air rang through the salty winds ending with the ever so bellowing roars of a growing titan overpowering all in its sight. Scampering small organisms hopping branch to branch trying to avoid all the chaos would look forth in time before large amalgamated growths crushed their habitats with their sheer power. Crunching of leaves beneath their steps as they ran through the trees whilst avoiding harm at the same time..How could this have gone any better you ask? Why don't you ask the two bickering like children first and maybe you'll get an answer-
Sliding underneath a log and hopping over a collapsing tree Kÿr sprang into the fray wielding two double barreled, large mag, suppressed, arm supported rifles in each hand, rolling as he hit the ground Kÿr would spring forth continuing his escape from the force behind him sending the remaining woods array. Sounds of deep growling out combined with pissed off yelling broke through the turbulence as the infected face of Ma'ire broke through the tree line behind Kÿr, the ground quaking as soon as it's face made impact with the ground sending Kÿr toppling through the air as Hijìn hopped into the air lunging straight at the monster making it topple to the side as he punched it. "AaAAARRRgghhh Fhhhhr..Hijìn you DumbAss!", Kÿr yelled out as he tumbled onto the back of this hulking titan losing his grip as one of his rifles fell out of his hand and dissipated into thin air, Hijìn extending his arm behind him and pulling Kÿr back tossing him in the face of infected Ma'ire.
Flick of the wrist and Kÿr reformed a whole new gun in his left hand and started blasting all the bullets into the monsters face, the creature groaning out in pain as it rolled onto its side trying to avoid the fire. "Ac-..", Kÿr could barely utter a sound as he fell beneath the titan falling on top of him and out of sight, "Kÿr'U!", Yelled out Hijìn as he saw his friend fall under the monster only to lose balance and roll off the creature as well, gripping at literally anything before he was able to grab onto some remaining hairs on the creatures back. Infected Ma'ire's right arm extending revealing Hèr'La still in its grasp getting drained of her power more and more, she gasped for breath as dirt flew all about from this things collision with the ground, soon turning around to face the monster and swiping her left hand making a pillar formation of limestone shoot from the ground hitting the creature straight in the lower jaw sending them up off the ground by a few feet. "Y-you Bastard Let Me GO!", Hèr'La screamed out as she flimsily jerked her left hand back and forth making the ground beneath them come alive with random obstructions slamming into the creatures body in an attempt to be set free, while in the mean time Kÿr was riding on these shifting forest floor patterns on his back sliding back and forth across all the shooting upwards formations panicking, "Shit Shit Shit Shit!", he yelled out before the creature gave out and they all went falling down a cliff face a few hundred feet.
Creature groaning out in pain unable to make out any words any longer from the ever so growing transformation would flail about in the air for a few seconds, the canopy approaching rapidly Hijìn thrusted himself from the hair he was holding on before and tried running up this things back as fast as possible. Hijìn nearly fell off as he ran further up the beast, once high enough on the creatures back he thrusted both hands in the air, serrated blade tar-like growths coming from his wrists he gripped them in his palms and shoved them straight into the side of the neck of this huge monster. Ma'ire yelped out in pain as Hijìn used all his core strength to yank this things head back wanting it to make a headfirst collision with the trees in an attempt to impale it, but from above Kÿr would run off the cliff face and down onto the falling creature below extending his arms in front in preparation to shoot until something comes up at the last second.
Grinding their boots heels on the side of the cliff side as Kÿr was free falling came Vìrkä wielding her crystalline jade bow in hand, turning to face him she would yell out in annoyance, "Step aside Sìrlan- let this be handled by an actual sharp shooter!", Kÿr turned to her and grew instantly furious as he pointed one of the guns at her, "What did you just say you BITCH?!", he yelled out shooting several rounds at her. Vìrkä swerved under the first two, hopped off the cliff side for the third and fourth, then slingshot a grapple towards the wall and continued sliding having taken no damage before kicking Kÿr off to the side as she grit her teeth and started sending massive arrow shots to the gut of this massive beast. Ma'ire's infected body had grown to be 120.5 meters tall at this point and was becoming more of a problem with each second as it harnessed Hèr'La's infinite growth and life abilities with its perverted abilities of absorption. The Hellfire from Vìrkä stabbed into the creatures gut just as Hijìn jerked its head back making them all fall faster down to the forest floor below, Kÿr shoved to the side by the kick would fall into the canopy getting more peeved by every passing second she's even existing in his presence, 'That meddling Bitch! How dare she! My weapons are better by a billion million percent just she wait!', Kÿr thought as he swung on his tail across a branch catching himself only to witness the monster slam into the floor causing a mini earthquake around them. "Jeez fat fucks never cease to amaze me..", Kÿr mumbled to himself in a inner monologue about this mutated creature as he hopped branch to branch making his way to the crash site.
Dust and Smoke clouding the air as the small Sìrlan broke through it to try and reach Hijìn who he last saw falling with beast, from a distance it would sound like the clashing of steel and hard rock over and over again through the dust cloud, sounds growing ever much louder until from the darkness the creatures hand shot through it into the open air. Clenched fist holding Hèr'La punching itself into the ground slamming the woman against the rubble as she violently with both hands stabbed thick sharp pieces of metal from the ground she formed using her powers into the beasts hand, the creature breathed heavily slobbering all over itself heavily as Hijìn was seen gripping onto the side of its face punching at its hardened skull-like face attempting to break it open. Running side by side Kÿr and Vìrkä took chase, but as they ran with one another they would shoot out random arrows to even small explosives at one another shredding everything near them, "You Flat Chested Whore! How dare you try to kill us to now trying to help us! Fuck You!", yelled Kÿr as he did a backflip over a few arrows stabbing the ground beneath him and countering with handful of explosive rounds back at Vìrkä. "Me the Whore?! Please get original with your insults you rancid ball licking sex object! Really don't think I would know your desires aren't pasted onto my sister you should be Fucking ashamed", Vìrkä responded as she dodged left while running, the bullets slowly passing through her hair not even grazing her.
Explosion from the back heel of the creature made it tip forward for but a moment just as it's left arm bent on the ground to catch itself from falling once again. Flying through the air up the creatures leg was Vìrkä and Kÿr fist fighting one another, Vìrkä punching Kÿr square in the face making him fall back, but swerving back he used the inertia to uppercut her in the face with the two of them landing on the back of this beast. Hijìn still holding on would snarl in pain as the parasite took control of the left side of his mind being visible through his now black left eye, turning around while still punching the creatures face he would witness Vìrkä kicking Kÿr in the face only for Kÿr to lunge forward and full force smack her across the face with a rocket boosted gauntlet making her stagger back for a second. "A-are you Fuckin Serious! We are trying to kill this thing and save your Sister and your woman..and you two are fighting like a bunch of immature fucks!", yelled the parasite through Hijìn as the two kept on throwing hands at one another. Kÿr getting punched in the nose would stagger for a second as blood dripped from his lip, Vìrkä glaring down the Sìrlan as her hair blew in all directions from the creature still running in a straight direction.
"You..Your gonna pay for that..", Kÿr said to himself as he slowly turned back to face Vìrkä, she would raise both her eyebrows and look at him with a unsurprised look, "You done or are you still gonna try me?", Vìrkä said as her bow was shoved into the creatures back to stay on. Kÿr scoffed as he wiped his lip with his jackets sleeve, "Not until I have your head on a platter I won't..NOW DIE!", he said after lunging at Vìrkä with serrated blade in his hand, but just as fast as he did it Vìrkä would switch hands holding the bow, spin, the kick him back off the creature still running off. Vìrkä shoved her nails deep into the creatures tentacle filled rotting flesh trying to climb ever so much further to get where Hijìn had been the whole time, the man flexing his lats and sending countless sharp tentacles out of him into the creatures eye who would yell out a thunderous roar in agony as it jerked its face away wanting to get the man off. Hèr'La was tossed into the air for a second as the creature slapped its face with both hands to rid of Hijìn, in retaliation Hijìn would shove his hand into the creatures eye socket and catch the creatures hand with the other hand with general ease, burrowing his eyebrows as he yelled out in frustration from the force growing on his body. Vìrkä looking up would see Hèr'La in the air would for a second smile in happiness to see her sister still alive, but in that same breath would thrust off on one foot up and over the creatures slamming down hands and up to try and grab her younger sister. "Hèr'La! Catch my Hand!", Vìrkä screamed out to her sister as she lunged over the creatures head to try to catch her, Hèr'La's eyes fluttering open from exhaustion looking down at her sister would reach back out with her limited strength only to hear a building up roar beneath them both.
Second pair of hands thumping at its chests so incredibly fast they were nearly blinding, the Creature pounded its chest one last time activating Blood, the sacred technique of Hijìn's people, getting a massive strength and durability enhancement while also sending out a earthshaking roar, knocked Vìrkä off balance and away from her sister whom was caught by the third arm of the monster. Tumbling through the air as the Creature landed back down on the ground after punching Hijìn a few times who was trying his best to defend against such powerful attacks Vìrkä would growl out in frustration, "FILHTY MUTTS AND THEIR HIDDEN POWERS! GIVE ME BACK MY SISTER BEFORE I END EVERYTHING WITH MY BARE HANDS!!!", she said shooting out a grapple shot onto the very arm that caught her sister and full force pulling the cable but just as she did so she turned back and grew even more frustrated. Kicked off and holding a ever growing grudge Kÿr would intentionally spit out a bunch of bloody droplets, but the second they exited his body they turned into a barrage of heat seeking missiles aiming straight for the monster ahead and with the barrage set he would jerk both arms back forming large jet-like propulsion thrusters on his back and boosting back at high speeds towards no one but Vìrkä. Having no movements options but the grapple shot Vìrkä would try to dodge only to realize that the best option is to retaliate, Kÿr blasted through the explosions which made the creature fall forward as its still forming legs fell from the strength of the blast, fist clenched he shot over the creatures back and thrusted his arm full force at the woman making instant contact.
Fist thrusted right back Vìrkä slammed her fist into the Sìrlan's cheek making the two of them fall straight down from the jets still going on Kÿr's back, he grinded his face against her fist, up her arm, and drove his fist straight into her cheek as the two plummeted downwards. Barely able to mutter out a phrase as his fist squished her cheek, "Y-yOu Du..RrraaGHHH!!", she yelled out before the fist of the creature knocked Kÿr out of the way and carried Vìrkä straight into a collision with her sister in another palm, Hèr'La looked out to see the giant fist holding her sister and made a barrier out of metal and stone from her surroundings to no avail as it broke right through and crushed her beneath the weight of the attack. Kÿr crashing right into the cheek of the creature would yelp out as his thrusters exploded upon collision burning at his back soon falling down till a black tentacle caught him, Hijìn was still just barely clinging to the side of the creatures face with almost no tentacles in his aid, looking down at the Sìrlan he would grow annoyed soon bringing him up with the same tentacle to say, "Look little creature none of us here can stand that woman being here anymore than the next guy, Hell the instant we saw each other it was straight into the hating and fighting, but we chose to settle a small truce in order to get her sister back and stop this madness..". "There is no way she can be forgiven after all she's d-..", Kÿr said before getting interrupted by Hijìn who yelled back in annoyance and in some shame, "I Know! I Fuckin know! She knows it too! But we can't do this alone either! I don't want you to risk your life for anything Kÿr it isn't fuckin worth it..she's hurt Hijìn so much and I can see that in his soul it's irreparable..just this once he wants to tolerate it to actually make a change he's seeking out and maybe just maybe he can make things right..so temper your bullshit..listen to the creature in your friends head who you also hate for once and let's kill us a monsta!", the parasite said to Kÿr through Hijìn who kept the same serious face..only with the internalized sadness as he faced down at his distraught friend.
Wind blowing past them incredibly fast Kÿr glanced up at the man mutant he calls his friend and would shrug with a upset face, "Fine..I'll cooperate for now..I guess..but one things for sure this doesn't mean me and her will be buddy buddy I'm gunning to kill her and you should to!", Hijìn smiled a bit nodding in response, "of course..now get to it let's save ya woman!", Hijìn said tossing Kÿr up into the air over to the top of the head of the Beast. Kÿr flipped over and landed gracefully on the hardened skull head looking all about, each small crack in the head of the monster would contain dozens of eyes which peered out to anyone in their vicinity, quickly running over to the forehead Kÿr sought ahead to witness the show down below. The Creature clenched it's claws around the struggling Hèr'La who tried to rip her way out of the monsters hold by expanding a metal barrier around herself covered in sharp thorns, but just by her Vìrkä would be holding the left top fist of the creature back with both hands, the overwhelming strength of the titan along with blood technique getting increasingly harder as it grew more and more. The Creature has now grown up to 150.7 meters tall, it's hulking body exploded with bursts of its old blood coming from its expanded veins now getting replaced by the toxic sludge created by the Rafflesia Hasselti parasite, thorn-like needles growing out of its hardened hide, rows of peering eyeballs grew from the tears in its flesh, and bulging muscles weighing so much it grounded the forest floor into dust..now the question is..where is it running off too? Something like this would seem smarter to run towards the main parent for support being the Hydra..yet it continues to run..the salty winds growing more pungent as they keep going, the party getting further and further away from familiar territory as the effects of the Entity attacks didn't do as much damage in this sector before...hehhhhehhehehe...that's..because...we..absorbed..it...and..it's..power...~
Whistling of two incoming Missiles made Vìrkä stagger in her attempts to hold the giant fist back from crushing her as well, every so often she would turn to her sister Hèr'La to make sure she was still even alive, in this state it wouldn't be long until she fell as well from how weak she still feels from being drained by this same parasite not that long ago. Kÿr hopped off the snout of the beast planting small bombs all along its face till he jumped off onto the lower right arm running alongside it before the bombs went off making the creature scream out in pain, its head jerking downwards straight into the ground where Hèr'La could launch a multitude of spiked rock formations in an attempt to tear it open. However, due to the creatures strengthened defenses and overwhelming weight the formations hardly even grazed it instead making it roll over its shoulder completely launching everyone around into the air, Hijìn flying off the side of this thing falling behind, Kÿr jumping off at the last second as he placed more explosives on the creatures body, Vìrkä was punched into the ground by the fist, and Hèr'La tossed forward sent tumbling along the forest floor. Hijìn recuperated near instantly as he sprang off the destruction caused by the creature falling on its ass, explosions from Kÿr's bombs making it fall to its side while it got back on his feet, gritting his teeth Hijìn would launch two tentacles from his forearm into the ground and launched himself into a full speed sprint after the Beast.
Running over the large holes made by the Creatures heavy footsteps Hijìn kept his pace, his parasites abilities keeping him in tip top shape as he ran, sweat dripping down his face seeing the creature run further and further on ahead smashing through the tree line. A hand shot out of the ground, a familiar light green skinned hand buried beneath all the rubble, reaching down as he leaped over the hole Hijìn pulled out Vìrkä who would swerve in the air and land on his back. Hand on his right shoulder and feet on his back Vìrkä would watch on ahead, "It's mutating more and more..gaining new abilities I feel like if we don't act fast enough with our strongest attacks it'll get so strong we'll be crushed..got that Hijìn?", she asked glancing down at the man who shot out another tentacle from his forearm and skid alongside the path before flinging himself forward through the air, "Y-yeah..Let's do that..", he said not even facing her keeping the goal his priority. Out from the darkness of the forest Kÿr would be seen flying overhead by using his propulsion backpack to give chase, spinning in the air Kÿr swiped his hand to the right making another barrage of missiles to try and take this thing down, "Tch Helping each other..like I'd even care- I'd only help Hijìn..doing him a favor and saving Hèr'La too..", Kÿr scoffed for himself as the missiles struck the ass of the Creature making it falter and jump forward to try avoiding the explosions. Whole sectors of the remaining woods caught ablaze from the explosions missing the target, Kÿr swerving under the collapsing trees in his way would look up and without miss the Creature mid leap turned around mid-air, backhanded him with its massive clawed hands, then caught itself with one hand and started running on all six limbs outpacing the rest. Propulsion jets exploding on contact Kÿr went flying back, some blood dripping from his mouth as he fell, but just before he went too far a peculiar hand caught him. Looking back Kÿr saw the smug face of Vìrkä holding him up with one hand and Hijìn who kept on running after the creature, "Done messing with those weak little rounds? Why don't you use something more piercing on hardened flesh..if you were a sharp shooter you'd know that little Sìrlan~?", she beckoned him in a playful tone of voice. Hair blowing everywhere, Kÿr squirmed around in her hold till he responded with an attitude, "Let! ME! GO! Keep talking shit see where that gets you asshole", Vìrkä chuckled at his response then looked down at the back of Hijìn's head, "Can I toss him off so he can embarrass himself even more?", she asked with a smug look on her face as Kÿr screamed out in anger clawing at her to no avail as she held him away from her face.
"No you can't he's a friend we need him for his abilities..same as we need your abilities and knowledge of these parasites to kill this thing and get your sister back- so cut the crap and cooperate with one another we don't have much time..", Hijìn responded as he planted his foot and thrusted himself faster forward making Vìrkä and Kÿr jerk back from the increase in speed. Ground shaking all around them from the growing monster ahead Vìrkä would groan in annoyance from the request looking down at the Sìrlan still in her hand, "Ugh..Fine..just this once- Ugly little rodent", she said letting the Sìrlan sit down on Hijìn's right shoulder. Kÿr growled out about to respond before Hijìn interjected, "Remember what we talked about..later Kÿr..let's get this job done first", Kÿr opened his mouth trying to say anything, but giving up he flicked Vìrkä off soon standing up straight holding onto Hijìn's head so he doesn't go flying off from how fast he was running. The Creature extended its arm out smashing through hardened walls and smooth limestone pathways as Hèr'La reformed the path in front of her so she can slide out of the creatures reach, falling about on the smooth platform Hèr'La would gaze ahead over the horizon and see something she hasn't seen in a long time...the Sea?! Spinning back having her back facing the forming path ahead Hèr'La would question, "Why is it chasing me to the sea?! How far are we traveling?! Why won't it take me back to the..to our creator..something isn't adding up..", a massive gust of dust blew over the pursuing Creature as from the sky the other three would emerge.
Blazing heat and Green glowing suns Hijìn, Vìrkä, and Kÿr joined in the fray of it all, The Creature glancing up with all the eyes protruding out of its skull mask-like head would not even have a time to react as all three of them would come crashing down on top of it smashing it headfirst into the pavement, it's whole lower body being lifted into the air as it fell on its ass from such a hard hit. Hijìn tossed Vìrkä and Kÿr off to the sides, Kÿr lunging over the creatures massive flailing arms started blasting at its body all over with guns protruding out of his body, Vìrkä's eyes glowing a bright neon green as she would shoot near endless amounts of arrows at the creatures hardened flesh. Hijìn jumped off the creatures head and started stabbing out its eyes making it scream out in pain, bullet rounds detonating in its flesh sending chunks of flesh and tentacle bits everywhere, arrow's piercing right through its tough hide nearly pinning it to the ground was halted by the monster falling all the way over. They would all consecutively attack the creature at random, Vìrkä jumped forward before getting punched into the ground by a stray fist, but as she fell she caught the fist with one finger till she countered with a full force kick knocking it off to the side. Hijìn rolling around with the Creature falling on top of him would groan in frustration as it's whole body collapsed crushing him beneath all its weight, "Agh we're getting nowhere everything we do is knocking it around but not really harming it enough for it to die", Kÿr yelled out to Vìrkä who ran a solid 20 meters away from him, she nodded in agreement having to lunge over the row of tentacles falling out of the Creatures body falling on top of them once again. Eyes glistening for a second she panicked out to Hèr'La yelling out, "Hèr'La DODGE!!!", Kÿr turning forward would grow terrified as the Creature slid on ahead with mouth wide open right behind Hèr'La who stayed sliding as fast as possible out of reach.
Sudden thrust of force beneath the Creature made it boost forward with Hijìn full force kicking the Beast off of him, he was tired of being used like some skateboard for the people around him only to realize his mistake. Hèr'La turned around hearing the warning but it was too late, the Creature dug it's claws into the soil and clenched it's horrid jaws around the woman instantly consuming her, "If Anyone shall Have her..IT IS I!!!", bellowed out the Creature as it swallowed Hèr'La down its disease ridden throat. "NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!", yelled out Vìrkä terrified of what she just witnessed, Kÿr absolutely mortified as well froze for the moment as the Creature fused Hèr'La deep within its chest cavity to harness her true powers to an extreme, in the still moments seeing this Kÿr would be shaken about by the collar hard until snapping to his senses to see a Vìrkä screaming at him. "Stupid Fuckin Sìrlan THROW ME AT IT NOW! Do it or so Help me All Father I'll KILL YOU TOO!!!", Kÿr snarled in frustration trying to get her tight grip off of him as they both fell, "Let! Me! Go! You Ass I'm saving her and look what you did! Now she's gone!", Kÿr yelled back in desperation clawing at Vìrkä's hands trying to get them off. The two kept thrashing at one another, Vìrkä's eyes slightly watering from all the anger redirecting it at the wrong person, Kÿr biting her hands trying to get free while also growing more and more desperate for an escape to all this pain would all be stopped when Vìrkä's hold immediately gets instantly loosened. Charging past them Hijìn grabbed Vìrkä and held her over his head, "Enough with this Crap! You want to be thrown I'll throw you! So shut up and Fuckin get her back!", he yelled at Vìrkä now exhausted of all this bullshit. He was the one who suffered the most from this woman and yet he isn't the one recklessly lashing out like a child...does that make us better or just a coward Hijìn?.. I'd prefer we don't think about that right now..
The Creature ran as fast as possible towards the coast now over 210.2 meters tall and still growing in size, each footstep left earthquakes as it ran, whole body emanating a deep coursing heat of its internal systems going into overdrive, and large spills of its toxic blood pouring everywhere it's traveled. Turning around on the dime the Creature faced the party behind them and sent a earth shattering laugh of victory as it went on, thumping at it's chest with all four arms- "Now Hijìn! Throw me Now!", screamed Vìrkä looking down at Hijìn running below her, a burrowed brow and he would leap in the air and tighten his body up till the max, he threw Vìrkä as hard as possible towards the Creature sending a shockwave from the strength of such a blow making him fall back. Kÿr stopped chasing and stayed with his friend looking on to the incoming attack. Realized what's coming the Creature blocked but it was too late, Vìrkä flew incredibly fast and punched into its chest with all her might blowing a massive hole into its chest so deep it revealed Hèr'La entangled with its core, extended claw like nails growing from her hands Vìrkä stabbed at the creatures insides trying to rip out her sister from her imprisonment. Yelling out each time as her claws digged deep into the hard tentacles not caring that the Creature fell back from the impact and was now skidding on its back down a steep cliff face, slicing just enough she saw her sisters face attached with tentacles on the sides seeping into her very flesh, "Hèr'La! I'm here! Honey I'm here imma get you out of here! It's gonna be okay don't worry!..", she's said with a worried look on her face while she cupped her sisters cheek with her right hand. Hèr'La's eyes fluttered open as she faced her sister asking confused, "V..?..why are you..I thought you..hated me?", Vìrkä ripping one of the tentacles off her sisters cheek, "Of course I don't! I'm sorry for all I've done I've been a fool! I should've listened to you sis..this would have never happened if I hadn't taken that deal like a immature bitch that I was..I just wanna go back to our home and live a peaceful life together that's why-..", Vìrkä was interrupted by Hèr'La reaching her hand out and pushing Vìrkä off her and out of the hole saying, "I know you won't understand now..but I knew this would happen eventually..I know your intent and I sadly get the consequences of it all in the end..take care Vìrkä and please do leave this place..our creator is gonna send us off..one last time..".
Vìrkä yelled as she fell from the monster back onto the ground falling under all the collapsing vegetation around her, Hèr'La smiling to herself as the hole closed in front of her sealing her away within the bowels of the beast. Hijìn running up helping Vìrkä stand while Kÿr looked on ahead in dismay until something peculiar caught their eye, while the footsteps of the creature made the ground tremble beneath their feet a strange odd yellow glow pulsed in the sky. The yellow glow came from behind, emanating out as a wave of dark clouds chased after them, a monstrous world shaking roar so loud it made their ears bleed rang through the darkened skies. Is this what Hèr'La was warning about before? Is this the retaliation? Why did it take so long to arrive or was this planned since the start? No access to anything now too far from home, no civilizations nearby for assistance, only the wastelands in the distance, sea only a few hundred miles away, and the regrowing crimson forest enveloping them from all angles. Dark clouds pushing in the wind causing Hijìn to falter and bend to his knees Vìrkä would stand up to the pressure looking back knowing what will ensue, Kÿr tucking beneath his friend making a barrier around them so they stay safe from incoming debris.
"She said the end..I questioned it..but why is it always the end..relationships..love..family..bonds..trust..and life..why does it always have to end someday..I was born and given a blessing from the All Father above, took the mantle as a daughter of fate, payed the price, and now I have to be burdened with my own sins..", Vìrkä said to herself as she took heavy steps against the winds in front of Hijìn and Kÿr who stayed within the barrier. She open her arms out and faced destiny. Planetary sized boney flesh claws ripped from the maw of the Hydra, thin rotting membranes like wings tore themselves from the outer skin walls, fleshy petals unfolded once again, deep within three large figures tore themselves asunder in the sky. Boney human skull shaped monstrosities stretched their long necks into the atmosphere above, ripping their flesh on their jaws asunder revealing a mouth filled with writhing eyes and flailing rotting corpses, charging up their neck vertebrae was the glowing yellow energy soon building up in their mouths. All three massive heads screeched out as the energy kept building up causing hurricane force winds to blow the forest beneath their strength, Vìrkä stared back at them in defiance while Kÿr and Hijìn watched in fear, "Vìrkä get in the barrier now! You'll get vaporized!", yelled Hijìn out to Vìrkä using a small opening made by Kÿr. Vìrkä's silky gray hair blowing around violently she turned back to the two with a soft smile, the display of the Hydra ahead she couldn't help it she just had to be happy in some way, ground around her slowly reforming into a large crevice almost like a ever so changing barrier. Smiling she'd say, "It's been fun..for the small time we've spent..I'd join you but you know..you two hate me..and I completely understand I'd hate me too- hope your barrier is strong enough..see you on the other side..Hijìn and Kyr..", "Wait.. NO!", yelled Hijin out to Vìrkä through the barrier until the world around them became a flash of white light so blinding it rendered all senses useless.
Flash of light and the whole continent and places around it shined so brightly it was visible from other worlds, the Hydra released a massive attack displaying its dominance over the world as the most powerful serpent in existence. It's unfurled fleshy wings releasing Rajòz so strong it vaporized all air in its surroundings causing a massive air vacuum of energy. The world knew of this event no one else could doubt it..from every continent every living thing would witness the light show of Rajòz spreading so far it enveloped the skies. Charred and slowly regrowing the Crimson forest took the worst of its blows..the Entity of unmeasurable strength and now the Hydra's true colors..if only we landed somewhere else maybe this would have gone better..
Forgone..the smell of salty seas envelops me..sand clinging to my skin..what did she do..
The weight on my chest..
What..is..my..purpose..
Why does He want me alive..?
